Walk

— TAKE IT ALL IN YOUR STRIDE —

The Fife Coastal Path is one of the finest scenic routes in Scotland with the Balcomie Links Hotel to be found at one of the most rewarding sections of the walk, the picturesque village of Crail.

As well as benefitting from the East Neuk’s stunning natural surroundings – our working harbour is a must-see - you’ll find an abundance of wildlife along the Crail-Anstruther/Anstruther-Crail walk with grey seals aplenty and do keep an eye and ear out for some of our winged neighbours, including dunters - eider ducks to give them their Sunday name, shags and turnstones. You’ll also get a great view of the Isle of May, winter home to the largest colony of grey seals on the east coast of the UK. And that dome-shaped outcrop in the distance? That’s Bass Rock, the largest single gannet colony in the world. That’s quite a check list of experiences for a four mile hike.
